Africa is widely perceived as a place of mystery and adventure. This was my exact feeling the first time I seriously thought about traveling there in 2002. Now, having been to Africa more than a half a dozen times, I realize that it is a land of amazing contrasts where wealth and poverty, strength and weakness, beauty and ugliness, life and death sit side by side. At CareNow we choose to focus on the beauty and strength that is there, and work to bring health and wholeness out of the weakness and brokenness that exists. These pages contain stories of hope and sadness, healing and pain. We are caught up in the adventure that is Africa and will continually refresh this chronicle of accomplishments, stories, videos and photos as time goes by.
